Ministry of Education and Youth
This ministry provides materials, times, places and teachers/leaders for the member of the church to grow in their knowledge of God's word and in their faith in God. Equipping our children and young adults with the truth of God's word.
Grace CRC is blessed to have Emily Kapteyn as its Youth Director. She works with our Ministry of Youth and Education Committee to coordinate the ministries from Sunday School through to High School.
Sunday School - ages 3 to Grade 5
Sunday School is a children's ministry available throughout the school year for children age 3 up to and including grade 5. This ministry is offered during the morning worship service. The children accompany their parents into the sanctuary and are later invited to Sunday School. In Sunday School the children are taught a Bible Stories, songs, and have fun completing crafts. We are currently using "Dwell" curriculum from Faith Alive.
Calvinist Cadet Club
What is Cadets?
Cadets is a boys club where we teach young boys about Christ, the church, study the Bible, play games, The boys are taught to make projects and to use tools and equipment safely and have fun!
When is Cadets?
Boys ages 8-14 meet on Monday evenings from 7:00-8:30pm.
G.E.M.S. (Girls Everywhere Meeting the Saviour)
What is GEMS?
It is a girls club between the ages 6-14 years old. GEMS has as its central message to develop a living relationship with Jesus Christ.
It teaches girls to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with our God.
It fosters caring, supportive relationships between girls, counsellors, and parents to nurture spiritual growth.
The evenings consist of a bible study, snacks, crafts and/or games, and working on badges.
When Is GEMS?
Girls ages 6-14 meet on Monday evenings from 7:00-8:30pm.
Youth 412 - Aged 13 to 18 years old
All young people aged 13-18 are invited to connect together on Monday evenings from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. to fellowship together during snacks, small groups, and games. Come out and enjoy the fun!
What's For Lunch - Highschool students
Welcome to What's For Lunch!
If you are a high school student, then this is for you! Every Wednesday during the school year we offer free lunch (yup, free) during the high school lunch block (11-12 pm).
